In a 4 person (maximum) group class, you’ll learn the fundamental goals, principles and exercises of Classical Pilates. We use four of the major pieces of Pilates equipment, on rotation – the reformer, tower, chair and mat – along with a few minor pieces. Each class focuses on one of the major pieces.
By the end of the eight classes you’ll notice improvements in a number of areas: strength, flexibility, posture, body awareness and stress levels, to name a few.
Being one-on-one, a Private Class is the ultimate way to individualize your Pilates experience. The instruction is more detailed than a Duet Class or group class and fully tailored to meet your needs. You will advance your Pilates practice most rapidly.

The instruction is more detailed than a group class and fully tailored to meet the needs of both individuals.
Rookie Level Classes
With a maximum of 4 students per class, Rookie Level classes build on what’s taught in the Beginner Series, in your initial three Private Classes or in your initial five Duet Classes. Each class is different than the last, with new, more challenging exercises being introduced when students are ready. As you progress in your practice of Pilates, its genius will be revealed to you through continued improvements in both your physical and mental landscapes.
Prerequisite: the Beginner Series, three Private Classes or five Duet Classes
Intermediate Level Classes
Intermediate Level classes build on what’s taught in Rookie Level classes. As with all group classes at Tone Pilates, there is a maximum of four people per class. Your heart rate and the amount you sweat is greater than in the Beginner Series and Rookie Level classes.
Prerequisite: as many Rookie Level classes as are needed to reach this Pilates skill level
Advanced Level Classes
Do you have a high level of Pilates skill? Advanced Level classes will safely guide you right to the edge of what you can physically do. In each session, beginner and intermediate exercises are presented with maximum detail, warming you up to the most advanced of exercises only found in this class.
Prerequisite: as many Intermediate Level classes as are needed to reach this Pilates skill level
