The Experience

Deeply personal. Empowering. Strengthening. Transformative.

Our Private Classes are the most personalized class that we offer; which means faster results for you. This deeply personal experience pairs you with one of our knowledgeable and skillful instructors in an environment that is as intimate as it is transformative.

Your instructor will work hands-on with you – expertly guiding you through each exercise to help you break through physical and mental barriers and unlock your true physical potential. With each class, your instructor will teach you how to get deeper into and connect with your body. You will use four major pieces of Pilates equipment, (the reformer, tower, chair and mat) along with a number of minor pieces.

As you progress in your practice, new exercises will be strategically introduced to keep your mind stimulated and muscles engaged. You will experience increased strength, stamina, flexibility and mental clarity, while gaining a deep awareness of your body; and what it’s truly capable of.

What style of Pilates is taught?

We teach Classical Pilates in the traditions of Romana Kryzanowska and Lolita San Miguel. Both were students of Joseph and Clara Pilates. Our practice is true to Joseph Pilates’ method but authentic to us. It is as smart and transformative, as it is energizing and fun.

What exactly is Pilates?

Pilates is a physical fitness system developed about a hundred years ago by a man named Joseph Pilates. Some ingenious equipment is used, all having large springs for resistance. Pilates might be thought of as weight training meets gymnastics meets yoga.

What exactly does Pilates do? What are the benefits?

Pilates provides students with a number of key benefits. It improves strength, flexibility, circulation, posture and stamina while decompressing joints, relieving stress (both physical and mental) and developing mental control.
