Our Live Online Mat Classes are designed for you to be able to get all the benefits of Classical Pilates mat classes from the comfort of your own home. You can choose from Beginner or Intermediate levels to match your Pilates experience.

 

Each class, you will join an online community of fellow Pilates enthusiasts. You’ll be mentored with clear verbal and visual cues. As you progress, you’ll experience increased strength, stamina, flexibility, and mental clarity, while you gain a deeper awareness of your body.

 

Mat classes are uniquely simple yet challenging. You’ll explore your body’s full range of movement, develop greater core strength, and cultivate better posture and balance. All with just a mat.

 

The result: a challenging, beneficial, fun, and transformative Pilates practice you can do from home.

What to Wear

Breathable, comfortable fitness clothing without zippers or buttons – whatever you would wear for yoga, weight training, etc.

Prerequisite

No Pilates experience is required to participate in our Live Online Mat Classes. However, if you have recently experienced an injury, you must acquire doctor approval before starting classes. All classes at Tone Pilates are fitness-based, not rehab-based.

How long is a class?

Each Live Online Mat Class is 50-minutes.

 

What software is used to deliver the Live Online Mat Classes?

Google Meet is used for class delivery. Thusly, you will need a Google account.

 

When will I receive the Google Meet link for a class I signed up for?

If it’s your first online class with us, you’ll receive the Google Meet link via email within about 24 hours of signing our online waiver.

 

If it’s not you’re first online class with us, you’ll receive the Google Meet link via email within about 24 hours of booking into the class.

 

If it’s the day before the booked class, then the link will of course come faster.

 

When does a class package expire?

We don’t believe in expiry dates for class packages. They will never expire.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel a class. If less than 24 hours notice is given, your missed class will come off of your package. You can cancel a class easily online after logging into your account.

 

What style of Pilates is taught?

We teach Classical Pilates in the traditions of Romana Kryzanowska and Lolita San Miguel. Both were students of Joseph and Clara Pilates. Our practice is true to Joseph Pilates’ method but authentic to us. It is as smart and transformative, as it is energizing and fun.
